Your organisation's name and the name of the coworker involved.
What you were trying to do, and what happened instead.
Roughly when it happened, with your time zone.
A screenshot or copied text, if it helps show the problem.
Please never send passwords, API keys or other secrets by email. If we need access to something, we will tell you how to share it safely.
Help inside your organisation
Your coworker can explain what it is able to do. Ask it in Teams, for example: "What can you help me with?"
Owners and administrators manage coworkers, connections and permissions in your organisation's Burli portal. If you can't change a setting yourself, ask one of them first, as they can often fix it straight away.
Report a concern about AI-generated content
Burli coworkers use AI. When a coworker answers you in a Teams chat, its text replies carry Teams' AI-generated label. Cards, scheduled reports and other messages it sends on its own may not carry that label, but they are written by AI too. Anything a coworker writes can be wrong, incomplete or inappropriate. If something a coworker wrote or did concerns you, tell us.
If it needs to stop now, switch it off
An owner or administrator in your organisation can switch off any connection, any action in it, or any ability that changes things, in your Burli portal. New requests stop straight away. Do this first if a coworker is doing something it shouldn't, then tell us.
Flag the reply in Teams
Where Teams shows feedback buttons on a coworker's reply (in one-to-one chats), choose thumbs down and add a note. This records the feedback for your organisation. To be sure the Burli team sees a concern, also email us as below.
Email us the details
Send it to help@burli.ai with the subject "AI content concern". Include:
your organisation and the coworker's name;
where it happened: a one-to-one chat, a group chat, a channel or an email;
the date and time, with your time zone;
a screenshot or the copied text of the content;
what the problem is, for example inaccurate, harmful or offensive content, personal information shown to the wrong people, or an action the coworker shouldn't have taken.
Share only as much personal information as we need to understand the problem.
What happens next
Your email reaches the Burli team's support mailbox. We aim to let you know we have your report, look into what happened, and tell you what we found and anything we changed. Where a report suggests a risk to people or to data, we aim to deal with that risk first and follow up with you after.
Security and privacy
Report a security issue
If you think you have found a security vulnerability in Burli, email help@burli.ai with the subject "Security". Describe what you found and how to reproduce it, but please don't include exploit code or another organisation's data. If more detail is needed, we will arrange a safer way to share it.
Your personal information
To ask about, correct, export or delete personal information we hold, email help@burli.ai with the subject "Privacy request" (hello@burli.ai reaches the same team). We may need to confirm who you are, and some requests go through your organisation's administrator. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
When to expect a reply
The Burli team works Australian business days, Gold Coast time (AEST, UTC+10). We aim to reply as soon as we can, and to look at reports about AI content or security before other requests.
This page does not set a guaranteed response time or a service level. Our Terms of Service describe availability and support. If your organisation has a separate written agreement with us that sets response times, that agreement applies.
